LIBRARY AWARD FOR BEST YOUTH PROGRAMING
After a screening organized by the Amagansett Free Library (NY) in 2013, "The Girl Next Door" received the "Best of the Rest"-Award from the "The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), a division of the American Library Association (ALA) for best Youth Programing.
"The Girl Next Door" is included in the Sixth edition of YALSA's Excellence in Library Services to Young Adults (to be published Spring 2014). This is a practical handbook librarians consult when they are looking for innovative, replicable programming ideas.

"The Girl Next Door" is an excellent educational resource for schools, libraries and other educational institutions.
Due to the high demand we decided to create an Educational Kit for teachers, librarians, abolitionists, youth workers and educators.
The packet will include the movie-DVD, a workbook, a CD Rom with materials and will be available for purchase in 2014.
